How to Use A-Ret Gel?

 

Apply A Ret Gel 0.1% topically once in a day on the affected area. Wash your hands before and after its application. Wash the affected area with cleanser and let it dry completely. Take a pea size dose and with the fingertips apply it to the affected acne area so that it gets absorbed into the skin. Within 8 to 12 weeks you will see the positive results of this treatment. Overdose leads to redness, peeling etc so use exactly the same dose as your doctor has prescribed.

 

 

What are the Conditions in which A-Ret gel 0.1% is used:

For skin which is acne prone. It also helps to stop stretch marks by enhancing collagen production. Tretinoin is used for acute promyelocytic leukemia.

Warnings and precautions to be followed:

 

If you are allergic to Tretinoin, then do not use this drug. After its application use sunscreen and do not move outside in direct sunlight. Explain your dermatologist if you are having any history of eczema. Strictly ceased if you are using products containing salicylic acid. Stop using chemical depilatories, wax etc on the affected area. Do not adjust your dosage by yourself, consult your dermatologist. Do not apply in mouth and eyes. If it somehow gets into eyes, wash with excess water to remove it. For effective results use it regularly.

 

 

Drug interaction:

 

Various drugs can alter the function of A-Ret gel:

  • Do not apply Benzoyl peroxide along with Tretinoin as it may cause irritation.
  • Stop using hair perming solution, astringents, abrasive soaps with Tretinoin
  • Do not use drugs like Ciprofloxacin, Tetracycline, Hydrochlorothiazide etc as it will increase the sensitivity of skin towards sunlight.
  • Avoid usage of products having Salicylic acid or Glycolic acid.
